Kalshi Expands to Solana with On-Chain Prediction Markets
- Kalshi launches tokenized prediction markets on Solana.
- Integration taps into significant Solana liquidity pools.
- Focus on developer engagement through Kalshi Builder Codes.
Kalshi has launched tokenized prediction market shares on the Solana blockchain as of December 1, 2025, offering on-chain, non-custodial, programmable event contracts to expand into crypto-native markets.
This initiative aims to leverage Solana’s scalability and liquidity pools, potentially influencing market dynamics by integrating with Solana’s liquidity ecosystems and impacting involved assets like Solana (SOL) and Kalshi’s event tokens.
Kalshi has moved its operations to the Solana blockchain, launching tokenized prediction markets. Prior to this, Kalshi operated as a centralized exchange focusing on real-world event contracts.
Led by John Wang within Kalshi, the initiative introduces non-custodial event contracts on Solana, aiming to engage “billions of onchain liquidity” with key providers like Jupiter and DFlow.
The shift impacts the Solana market, particularly liquidity providers Jupiter and DFlow. Kalshi’s presence is expected to enhance liquidity on Solana, with potential increases in transaction activities.
Markets and assets tied to Solana are likeliest to see fluctuations. While Bitcoin and Ethereum are unaffected, Solana’s DeFi ecosystem stands to benefit from increased liquidity flow.
Expected developments include more apps being built through the Kalshi Builder Codes program. This encourages developers to leverage the platform for creating new financial instruments on Solana.
Financial dynamics may shift with improved capital efficiency. Although precise figures are unavailable, past trends suggest significant engagement with new DeFi liquidity models, impacting circling assets on Solana.
“By tapping into billions of onchain liquidity through tokenized predictions with Jupiter and DFlow, Kalshi provides builders and traders a fast, transparent, and fully programmable way to interact with real-world events on Solana.” – Ran Neu-Ner, Founder and CEO, Kalshi
